Frequently Asked Questions

Do you come out to me to complete the service?
Yes, we are a mobile service business specializing in replacing glass wherever our customers are.

What happens if it rains?
Weather is something we constantly monitor and plan for. We cannot complete services in the rain. In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule.

How much does a replacement cost?
The price depends on several factors such as the features of the glass, whether calibration is needed, and current market pricing. Call us for an accurate quote.

How can I tell if my windshield is repairable?
We consider most breaks smaller than a quarter repairable. Breaks larger than a quarter but smaller than a dollar bill will be assessed case-by-case. Send us a picture or give us a call for a recommendation.

What if a repair is unsuccessful?
If a repair is unsuccessful, we’ll provide a replacement quote and discount it by the amount you paid for the repair. If you choose not to replace, we’ll charge a discounted repair rate of $40 and you can apply that amount toward a future replacement.

How long does an appointment take?
Please allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a replacement. Most appointments are completed in about an hour and a half, but some take longer depending on vehicle complexity and recalibration needs.

What is a recalibration?
Recalibration is the process of resetting and testing your vehicle’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after windshield replacement to ensure cameras and sensors function correctly.

Do I need a recalibration?
We will inform you if your vehicle requires it. Recalibration is essential for safety — without it, your advanced features may not work or could function incorrectly.

How soon can you come out?
We aim for quick turnaround times. If you call in the morning and your part is available, we may be able to come out the same day.

Do you offer any kind of warranty?
Yes. We offer a lifetime warranty on air and water leaks, plus a one-year workmanship guarantee covering any damage caused by our installation.

I’m having an issue with my vehicle after service — can you help?
Absolutely. Call or text us at 832-720-5981 and we’ll address the issue as quickly as possible.

Can you replace glass at my work, hotel, etc.?
If you are in the Houston area, yes. If you’re unsure whether you’re in range, give us a call.

Do you work on commercial vehicles?
We currently service consumer vehicles such as cars, trucks, and vans. We do not work on 18-wheelers or heavy equipment.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept most insurance and can work directly with your provider.

How do I file an insurance claim for auto glass?
Call us with your insurance information handy and we’ll help you get started.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major cards and cash. We do not accept checks.

How long after a replacement before I can drive my vehicle?
We use premium urethane adhesives for a strong, quick bond. Most vehicles can be driven as soon as the installation is complete, but if a wait is necessary, the technician will let you know.

How soon after installation can I wash my car?
Wait 2 days before washing your vehicle to prevent high-pressure water from compromising the bond. Washing sooner will void your lifetime leak warranty.

Will you match my factory tint?
If your vehicle had factory glass, the replacement should match unless you had aftermarket tint, in which case we’ll inform you of your options.

Can you replace my back glass?
Yes, we replace all vehicle glass except sunroofs.

Can you replace my door glass?
Yes, and we make sure all broken glass is removed from inside the door to prevent rattling.

Do you offer OEM glass?
Yes. OEM installations may require a deposit. Call us to discuss your options.

What is aftermarket glass and what’s the difference?
Aftermarket glass is common in the auto glass industry and often indistinguishable from OEM. We recommend it for most vehicles, with some high-end exceptions. OEM typically comes at a significant price premium.

Can you work on vehicles with special sensors or features in the glass?
Yes. We’ll ensure all sensors and cameras are properly transferred to the new windshield.

What about my stickers?
We can transfer most stickers, including inspection stickers. If we can’t, we’ll let you know.

How should I prepare before you arrive?
Have the vehicle in an open space with room to work, such as a driveway or an area with three adjacent parking spaces.

What should I do if my windshield gets damaged again?
Call us. We can often repair chips and prevent them from spreading.

Will a repair make the break disappear completely?
Repairs usually improve appearance significantly, but the damage won’t fully disappear. The main goal is to restore strength and stop spreading.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Call or text us at 832-720-5981 or use our online quote form.

What areas do you service?
We serve the greater Houston area. Not sure if you’re too far? Call us.

Do you remove and reinstall window tint?
No, tint is not reusable and must be professionally replaced.

My windshield is leaking — can you fix it?
A leak requires full replacement. We do not offer patch repairs, but we can replace the glass and stop the leak.

Will a replacement affect my vehicle’s resale value?
Usually no, unless the glass is broken or the buyer is particular about OEM parts.

How do I know if I have LDWS or ADAS features?
Look for a triangular cutout above the rearview mirror or check if your car alerts you when leaving a lane or has automatic braking.

Do you charge extra for mobile service?
No. All quotes are final with no extra mobile fee.

What is the difference between tempered and laminated glass?
Tempered glass shatters into many small pieces when broken, while laminated glass (like your windshield) cracks but holds together due to a plastic interlayer.

How do you dispose of the old glass?
We follow all regulations to ensure safe, environmentally responsible disposal.

What if my windshield has aftermarket accessories?
We can transfer most accessories, but wires or adhesives may be damaged during removal. Please inform us in advance.

Do you offer fleet services?
Yes. Call us to discuss your needs and set up a service plan.

Can you come out on weekends or after hours?
Our main hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, but we may be able to arrange special times.

Do you use adhesive that meets safety standards?
Yes, we use high-quality urethane and primers for a safe, lasting bond.

How do I care for my windshield after replacement?
After the 2-day no-wash period, avoid following vehicles too closely and keep your wipers clean to prevent scratches.

Will my inspection or registration be affected?
No. We transfer your inspection sticker to the new glass.

Can you work in covered parking garages or tight spaces?
It depends on the space. Call us to confirm.

Do you price match other shops?
We price competitively while using top-tier materials and following proper procedures, which many low-cost shops skip.

Do you require someone to be present during service?
No, just arrange a secure place for keys and payment if you can’t be there.

Will you remove broken glass from inside my vehicle?
We’ll remove as much as possible, but for heavy contamination, we recommend a professional detailer.

Can you replace my sunroof?
No, we do not offer sunroof replacements.
